Kathmandu. Nepalese Music Video King and Senior Singer Mr. Sitaram Pokharel has won the best singer award in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. He won the award with the song ‘Kanda Umrio’ which was recently released in his voice.

Mr. Sushil Kumar Lamsal, the Nepalese Ambassador to Egypt, gave him the award for the best singer of the year for the song ‘Kanda Umrio’  which managed to earn more than twelve million views in a short time.

Mr. Pokharel who is also the board of director of Radio Nepal, was able to receive the prestigious award at the ceremony held at Hotel Swiss INN Nile in Cairo.
Singer Mr. Pokharel, who has been winning the hearts of the audience among different videos in the field of Nepali music videos, has been honored with many national and international awards.

Singer Mr. Pokharel, who has won awards in India, Dubai, Qatar, Thailand and other countries, is also a former director of Nepal Oil Corporation.
